Take time for yourself

Whether you are pregnant, have a baby or a toddler, you need to take time for yourself. Remember to spend time for you.
It could be as simple as having a glass of wine while reading a great book or as elaborate as having a whole day at the spa, but regardless of what you decide, stick to it.
Once we have children (until they are out of the house), we, women,  find it hard to take care of ourselves because we are in our mother roles. We may not be able to spend hours at the gym or the spa but we can find at least, 30 min-1H/week to take care of ourselves, we have so many options such going for a walk, grabbing a coffee with a friend, reading a book, taking a bath, getting a manicure, anything that will make us feel like us again and not mommy for a few minutes. Your husband, mother, sister or best friend can spend time with your baby or toddler so you can be free for a little while.
While pregnant, it's easy to have time but you may get so wrapped into baby preparation that you may forget to enjoy your pregnancy, your freedom and yourself. Make time also to care for you. Make time to spend with your husband and father to be because life with just the 2 of you, will never exist anymore.
This is a very exciting time yet a bit scary. Life will be upside down for a while, maybe several months, so make sure you take care of you.
